Another fun way to teach reading. I made these from 3x5 cards...

Our goal is to count to 100. The closer C. gets, the more blocks I fill in for him. :)

This is a great word wheel idea I got off of abcteach.com I believe. This is a picture of the first word C. actually sounded out by himself. Yeah! :)

This is a foot I traced to teach that 12" inches = 1 foot. I have 3 (3 feet). You can make as many as you want.

he's doing pretty good if he can already count to 50! :) those are such great ideas - i am going to steal them, as usual :)

it's a fun way to practice counting and give incentive to him although he already loved counting so that prob. helped! :) steal away, baby cuz i'll be stealing when carter hits 1st grade. i'll have to archive your blogs! :)

Yes, in May we decided to try to pursue some type of adoption instead of get pregnant and after looking at all the options we chose to do foster care in hopes of adopting!
