Fire Unit
For our unit on fire safety we did the following: read books from the library about fireman, made red jello jigglers in the shape of flames, sang a song about being a fireman, practiced "Stop, Drop and Roll," went over how to call 911 in case of an emergency, and also talked about how we would get out of the house in the event of a fire. I also want to do a cutout of a Dalmation on white paper and have Carter use black ink to fingerprint spots on the dog. I also finally picked up a few more preschool workbooks at the store b/c he really enjoys doing these and they are great for reviewing letter sounds and math.
