Unfortunately, preschool went by the wayside the last couple of weeks due to illness around here and then of course the holidays. I hope to be back on track next week (which isn't a big deal because it would have been Christmas break anyways had Carter been enrolled in a preschool.) However, of course I got him a few Usborne books for Christmas. I got The Butterfly and In the Pond. Both are Life Cycle Books (the first is obviously the life cycle of a butterfly) and the 2nd is the life cycle of a frog. We've already read them but I plan to really implement them in the spring when we study those subjects. If you are interested in getting a copy of your own, go here: Usborne
I truly love their books! p.s. those books are age appropriate for higher than 3 yrs old. I'd say through early elementary school.
Next week I hope to post our Polar Bear unit--but I've got to get myself together to plan for it first!
I hope this blog helps you as you teach your children at home. Time goes by so quickly--enjoy each moment with your child. You can never get that time back!
